This project supports the implementation of the European Youth Strategy, the Erasmus + programme, and other relevant policy areas as follows. · providing more and equal opportunities for young people in education and support them to develop skills for the job market · encouraging young people to actively participate in society including volunteering opportunities for young people and social -including of young people with fewer opportunities. The objective of this particular EVS project is to develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in the European Union and East European countries, to enhance youth mobility in Ireland, Youth participation in Europe offering opportunities for development of skills and competence while volunteering in the host organisations dealing with children and youth with fewer opportunities in the host countries. The volunteers were engaged in 3 different projects which are described below in more detail but will involve: working with children, disabled people and organic farming.
