“New methods and ideas for working with different students”

This project concerns educating teachers in the field of improving their qualifications and skills in using creative and innovative teaching methods, compatible with different students’ needs and skills, both the skilled ones and the ones with specific difficulties or disabilities. The main idea is an inspiring of our school staff to exploring, broadening of horizons and international collaborating to work out of common, similar, methods, sharing of ideas and mutual supporting.Using English practically in everyday life in maintaining international contacts will be an important skill, which our staff members will acquire during the project. Adequately using English also by the teachers in the classroom during the educational process will undoubtedly ensure adequate using it by our students. Moreover, integrating more technology into our classrooms like in the case of using electronic correspondence will improve the educational process in both directions of acquiring new information and also the teaching. Our techniques of teaching children with special needs will improve through an observation, reflection, new gained knowledge, exchanging new ideas, experiences and comparison of the methods used in different schools in Europe working on the project .Planning the mobility and activities connected with international collaboration our school will contact with Teachers’ educational centers abroad to educate 12 teachers from our school, English teachers, different subjects teachers, ICT teacher with our headmaster, supportive teachers, special needs teachers.Before planned mobility the teachers who need extra language support will receive such English language courses according to their level of the ability of communicating English. They will also obliged to increasing their awareness about the country, the history, the culture, the way of life where they are going to travel. After self educating English teachers and history teachers are going to organize the workshops to train the rest of the project ‘s participants. They will also recommend literature, articles or internet sources concerning the main issue of the workshops. Participants of the project will also prepare their own methodological-language portfolio, where they are going to present their needs, requests and their attendance in realizing the final results of the project. The special representative team consisting of only few participants will chose an offer with the adequate courses and plan the mobilities. They will also chose the teachers who will buy tickets, plan the day of leaving and coming, will make a reservation a proper teacher for the course according to his needs, monitor the attendance of teachers on the courses.After all the mobilities, a set of workshops, conferences will be held with all the staff members from our school. Articles in a local press will be publicized. Our student’s parents wil be informed about our new gained knowledge, experience and skills. The exchanging of new ideas, experiences will be constantly made by an internet between the trainers and trainees of the courses. We are going to initiate the cooperation with new schools in Europe as our new et-Twinning partners.Collaborating with European institutions our teachers and student will be motivated to use modern information technologies to maintain contacts abroad, to exchange new creative, student –centered methods of teaching, our conclusions and reflections upon our common efforts to create European society.
