New Challenges in classroom traditional dynamics

Ours is a Secondary High School with different branches focusing on Scientific Studies and Modern Foreign languages. The scientific studies sector is the oldest branch, whose staff have been well trained over the years in the specific areas characterising the sector. The Modern Foreign Language branch is the newest and its staff need to be trained properly. The teachers' Assembly has identified, as a major goal, training in the CLIL methodology in both the perspective of acquisition of methodological and didactic skills and the acquisition of linguistic competences in a foreign language ( first of all English). The training action will give our educational staff both the chance to use CLIL in the classroom with a greater awareness and the oppotunity to develop their English language skills.
