The main theme of our youth exchange based on the media consumption habits, in the view of the series and films. We were waiting for youth, who were interested in conscious media consumption, who wanted to avoid the disorting effects of media, and become a self-conscious adult. We started this process from the series and films, which were very popular nowadays, an in this way, this was very admitted. We examined more aspects, that how the media can change our everyday life, and how can it change our personality, and also what are the harmful effects of the too much tv watching.
We examined these effects, gathering them together, examineed the circumstances of emergence, and next to this, the main goal is, how to eliminateed them. We reached it to share each other’s experiences, our results, our successes and failures. The main goal was to learn, how to take these processes, that not to crash, but to be sober, and react for this with the best of their knowledge.
In this project 4 nations – Hungarian, Italian, Romanian, Bulgarian – 5-5 representative (4 participant + 1leader), altogether 20 members took part.
During the program we applied diverse methods, which help to reach the goals, to examine one theme as many aspects as we could, and help to share the experiences, and to open in front of each others. For this, next to diverse methods, the youths can took part in interesting debates, role-plays, project works, and workshops. During these programs, the youths could share their feelings, experiences, impressions, and using them, tried to find solutions for their problems.
