Description (EN): To reduce CO2 emissions and to improve the productivity of SME's in the Euregio, cross-border efficient practical innovation processes will be initiated and implemented which will be informed by new technologies such as Industry 4.0 / Smart Industry, automation and HTSM. In order to ensure resource-efficient production in the SME's, the common features of the Lean & Green approaches will be applied in the GEP network. The pre-existing network structures and supporters within the EUREGIO will be actively involved. 100 SME's have already indicated an interest on their part by submitting a LOI.To introduce innovation processes involved, cross-border information, workshops and trainings will be made available geared towards raising awareness among decision-makers in 1,000 manfacturing SME's. In 500 SME's, an innovative production process around resource- and energy efficient manufacturing processes will be initiated. 100 SME's will receive funding for this purpose.The target group of the GEP network shall be manufacturing German/Dutch SME's from the metal, plastics and wood processing industries. They are supposed to develop and implement process innovations together with solution providers. A cross-border German/Dutch network of solution providers will be established for this purpose. Mutual knowledge transfer within cross-corder clusters in particular will enable application-appropriate innovative solutions related to process- and product innovations in SME's, with Independent experts supporting the KME's. The efforts will give rise to the creation of added value in the region for all players involved.In concrete terms, this means that, rather than equipping the SME's with standard solutions available on the market, a needs-oriented approach will be taken. The improvement potential for the production processes in the individual SME's will be assessed with a view to specifically increasing productivity and resource efficiency (Lean & Green). Om de CO2-uitstoot te verminderen en de productiviteit van het MKB in de Euregio te verbeteren, worden grensoverschrijdend efficiënte innovatieprocessen op een praktijkgerichte wijze geïnitieerd en uitgevoerd. Nieuwe technologieën zoals Industrie 4.0 / Smart Industry, automatisering en HTSM worden hiervan een onderdeel. Om binnen het MKB hulpbron-efficiënt te kunnen produceren, wordt in het Netwerk GEP gebruikgemaakt van de deelverzameling van de initiatieven Lean & Green. Bestaande netwerkstructuren en begunstigers in de EUREGIO worden hier actief bij betrokken. Honderd MKB-bedrijven hebben al door een LOI een concrete behoefte geformuleerd.Om innovatieprocessen in te voeren, worden grensoverschrijdende informatie, workshops en cursussen aangeboden om beslissers in duizend MKB-productiebedrijven hiervoor ontvankelijk te maken. Bij vijfhonderd MKB-bedrijven moet een innovatief productieproces in gang worden gezet dat zuinig omspringt met hulpbronnen en energie. Honderd MKB-bedrijven krijgen hiervoor steun.Doelgroep van het Netwerk GEP zijn Duitse en Nederlandse MKB-productiebedrijven in de metaal-, kunststof- en houtbewerking. Ze moeten samen met aanbieders van oplossingen procesinnovaties ontwikkelen en in praktijk brengen. Voor de vorming van een grensoverschrijdend netwerk wordt hiervoor een Duits-Nederlands netwerk van aanbieders van oplossingen opgebouwd. De onderlinge kennisoverdracht, met name in grensoverschrijdende clusters, maakt toepassingsgerichte innovatieve oplossingen van proces- en productinnovaties binnen het MKB mogelijk. Onafhankelijke experts ondersteunen hierbij het MKB. Concreet betekent dit dat er geen standaardoplossingen vanuit de markt op het MKB worden losgelaten, maar dat er voor een vraaggerichte benadering wordt gekozen. In het MKB wordt het individuele verbeterpotentieel in de productieprocessen vastgesteld om de productiviteit en de efficiënte inzet van hulpbronnen te verhogen (Lean & Green).
