Our school has a good relationship with foreign partners long ago. We would like to use this application to develop this relationship.The study trip is focused on modern work and production techniques in practice of the areas of modern nursery of tree, park-and garden designing.The applicants will be chosen from two faculties: 11th, 12th and 13th class gardener students – aged over 18 and from the 12th and 13th class park and garden design students.These are the special classes where the knowledge could be learnt during the trip is connected to their professional studies. Working language will be German during the study trip therefore it is necessary for the students to have strong German language knowledge and have to be ready for independence. Practice time is between 3th August 2015 – 30th October 2015 in North Germany Oldenburg area which is one of the biggest gardening centre in Europe. Preparations for this year’s application have already started with visiting German partner in December 2014.Our school’s expectation from the project is that students would be able to take part in this program who couldn’t afford it due to their financial background. We have to face regularly with this problem because there are 145 handicapped and extremely handicapped students attending our school just on these faculties above. The firms taking part in this program expect to have motivated and well – prepared students. The students’ expectations are to have new knowledge and wider approach to work. Besides developing professional skills on production and marketing field the study trip gives the opportunity for the students to develop their independence as well as their language, cultural and social skills.The 6-week long practice and the 1-week preparation are organized by firms which deal with students from other countries so they are experienced in student trips. The 3-month practice can be fulfilled by the graduate students because in their case it is not a matter missing the school and their study trip will definitely contribute to apply and get jobs.During the preparation week and on each Fridays the students will take part in cultural programs which will help them to know better the culture, neighborhood and help to develop their language knowledge. On working days the students follow the working schedule of the companies. During practice students can acquire competences which ones they cannot have in our country, attitude to work, organization world wide appreciated. They can meet and use technologies and machines which are not used and not common in Hungary but being used every day normally so the students can acquire the application of them. The young workers can apply for jobs in abroad and can start their own business in Hungary with more success.
