AGROTIKI ETAIRIKI SYMPRAKSI MEGAS ALEXANDROS - PELLA as a sending organization, aims to meet the new conditions imposed by the new environment and contribute to the development and promotion of rural areas and adaptability of human resources. Participates in the planning of this proposal by selecting the specific topic "New cultivation methods and treatment of diseases for nectarine trees to reduce environmental impact " according to the needs of its members and because nowadays there is an urgent need for protection and conservation of natural resources but also new consumer trends "HEALTHY FOOD" and environmental protection.The protection of plant production methods of pest with excessive use of pesticides has wide application, but because of the excessive use of pesticides has created serious problems for people, the environment and also to the efficiency of dealing with pests. These problems made it necessary to revise the hitherto strategy and direction to new farming methods and treatment of enemies in order to reduce the impact on the environment (Integrated Cultivation Methods). Integrated Agriculture, has all the conditions to ensure a balance between the environment and farming because:1. It imposes the observance of Good Agricultural Practice,2. Allows the use of fertilizers and pesticides, but only after analysis and accurate diagnosis of each crop needs and according to the specific soil conditions of each region and3. Emphasizes the production of high quality products. Integrated Crop Management and more specifically the nectarine trees is a policy that aims to provide the basis for efficient and profitable production which is economically viable and environmentally responsible. It integrates beneficial natural processes into modern farming practices using advanced technology and aims to minimize the environmental risks, along with maintenance, encouragement and recreating what is environmentally important. Integrated Agriculture includes a series of principles and procedures to be applied, taking into account the specific environmental conditions.Benefits - GOALS from New cultivation methods and treatment of diseases for nectarine trees to reduce environmental impact can be summarized as follows:1. Production of high quality agricultural products.2. Maximize the economic benefits for the producer. The benefit comes from reducing inputs and / or achieve better performance.3. More rational use of inputs received by the cultivation of nectarine trees. The more correct use of inputs can lead to the reduction or to maximize the benefit from their use.4. Reduction of environmental pollution.5. Reducing the burden on human health, the producer and the consumer of the product. Because of these and in conjunction with the guaranteed profits for farmers, the trend in modern agriculture is to comply with the rules of good agricultural practice and the certification of integrated management. The project will contribute to meeting the needs of trainees, all educational adult education methods will be followed (active participation in all stages of education, connection of theoretical knowledge with practical applications etc.). The training program will be tailored to the educational needs of participants and includes: Educational Sessions, workshops, thematic and cultural visits. This action will generate multiplier effects and impact both for the participants, as it will create a framework for networking and future cooperation and for parties involved who will develop cooperation at European level.The host organization PROBER SOC. COOP. chosen for the implementation of the program is in Italy, the country selection is not random in which the agricultural sector, particularly in the area of EMILIA ROMAGNA is highly developed, but also of the Host Institution who specializes in Integrated Crop Management such as nectarine trees, additionally it has implemented similar programs and has vast experience in mobility. The program will involve 25 people - human resources responsible members of the Rural Partnership that will go for 13 days in Italy.
