This consortium coordinated by DGEO CCGPE concerns five vocational schools in provide training in the green sector: gardener and technician in environment. The five institutions wish to integrate and strengthen the European dimension in their training in order to increase the opportunities for students in their access to the European labor market. One of the 5 schools provides special education for students with mental disabilities and another one is a dual training center - CEFA.
The project objective is to increase the skill level of the 89 participating students by supporting them in the acquisition of professional and social knowledge for their personal development and employability on the Belgian and European labor market. At the level of professional competences, it is to acquire or enhance learning in internships that offer new techniques of work and especially the products they will not have the opportunity to see at school nor in Belgium. The destination countries are France, Spain, Poland, Italy and Slovenia.
The coordination of the consortium is made by the CCGPE DGEO. His team has acquired since 2007 experience and expertise in the management of mobility projects and it will share them with the consortium in order to work together and in the same approach to implement actions for the students in accordance with the Erasmus + quality charter.
Transnational partners - intermediary organizations and hospitality companies - were selected by their experience in hosting foreign students and the adequacy of the proposed activities in companies with professional skills required.
The Learnings outcomes will be recognized and validated at the school by a jury - teachers and employers - and will be incorporated in the final evaluation of the training program for obtaining the certificate CQ6 of Gardener and Technician of environment.
Through this consortium, the schools wish to give an international dimension to training in the green sector by integrating new practices from exchanges with schools and partner companies and long-term to send and host students and trainers from other sectors
