Starting from the idea that when you understand the importance of nature you will like to get involved in protecting it. We would like to offer an example to 50 participants from 8 countries on how they can use nature as a resource of creating architectural buildings that will attract youth to spend time in the nature and motivate them to protect it. “Be active in the nature” is a youth exchange that aims to promote active participation and environmental protection to the participants from Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Romania and Turkey by offering them the possibility to use their creativity and create different attractions for the youth from the local community using nature as a resource. The first activity of the project will be an Advance Planning Visit that will be hosted from 03.06. - 06.06.2016 and involve 16 participants (one group leader and one participants from each partner country). Followed by the youth exchange that will be hold from 17.07. -26.07.2016 in Oudenaarde, Belgium that will involve 50 participants (5+1 participants from each country and 2 extra leaders). The objectives of the project are to:-raise the awareness of the participants regarding environmental issues in the partner countries;-offer the possibility to the participants to protect the environment and create out of it attractions for youth; -foster the cooperation and promote non-formal learning between the partner organization; -learn more about other cultures and promote tolerance among the participants of the youth exchange; -promote active participation and raise the involvement in the local community to the participants; -develop the creativity of the participants by using nature as a resource to create innovative objects; -develop the ITC skills of the participants and promote their ideas and results to the local community.
