The aim of this YE is to foster the use of the Social Media and other new technologies in an effective and safety way to promote active participation and help social inclusion. The concrete objectives will be to explore social media and other useful tools for maintaining partnerships, promoting causes, developing innovative solutions to improve the abilities of the youngsters at a personal and professional level. Furthermore, the youngsters will face also the privacy and security management in those platforms. All this topics will be tackled through the use of non formal and informal education, in activities like icebreakers, games, theater, role plays, brainstormings and many others they will deepen the main theme of the Youth Exchange.
We are going to have workshops where participants will need to prepare photos, articles, blogs, and they need to share on the social networks. Many youth gets in trouble because at their young age they are not thinking what kind of pictures or statuses they share with the World. This exchange is also aiming to point out: what you once upload to the World Wide Web, is going to stick there for so many years. During this exchange we show our participants how they can use in a healthy way the social network, moreover we show them how they can establish and run an entrepreneurship with the help of the social network, we are going to analyze the famous start up companies and we are going to show them to real power of social media. We are not only going to show, all our activities are non formal, and the participants will take active part in everything. They will have every day a different task to do with their social media. All participants will carry on a social media campaign, and they will present their result and process at the end of the exchange. This secure the follow up of the exchange: here they will only start their campaign, but obviously they can develop more after their return.
Our goals are:
-To use the social media for spreading the world about Erasmus Plus and about this project
