Our EVS-project "Musical Youth of Europe" project makes provision for entrusting one volunteer during twelve months - from January to December 2016 - with specific administrative and training tasks - according to his/her skills and preferences - related to our activities aimed at the youth with an international or European dimension scheduled in the annual activity program of our organisation, including international meetings and conferences, concert tours and the promotion of talented young European musicians. The volunteer will be involved in the promotion and the media coverage of the projects; communication and cooperation with foreign partners and participants; taking arrangements for lodging, rehearsals, concerts, etc; elaboration of the daily schedule of the projects; elaboration of a youth related cultural program (trips, talks, visits); promotion activities to arouse the interest of participants and public; ongoing contacts and support to help participants solve any problem before, during and after the projects; favour integration of multicultural groups; pedagogical assessment of the results of the projects.The aim of our EVS-project is to reinforce the professional knowledge of volunteers by developing qualities and abilities which could be useful in their future professional career – notably relational, organizational and linguistic skills - in the rich and diversified surrounding of a cultural organization dedicated to youth and youth work. The direct involvement in multicultural activities with young people will also help develop their ability to adhere to a project, to work in a team and bring together youths from different cultures.For its part, our organization wants to benefit from the dynamism and innovative ideas of young volunteers in order to broaden our didactic and tutorial approaches and initiatives, including the new media and means of communication commonly used by youth, in order to better meet the needs of the young musicians that we promote.
