This project will be made in the Conservatory of Music “Leopoldo Torrecillas Iglesias” sited in Vélez Rubio village (Almería). Our institution teaches pupils between 8 and 12 years old of all the region of Los Vélez. (Vélez-Rubio, Vélez-Blanco, Chirivel, María, Oria).Our institution has teachers of instrumental subjects as Piano, Violin, Viola, Violoncello, Clarinet, Guitar. And we have teachers that teach the subjects that the Junta de Andalucía marks how basic subjects in our teaching level.The assessment committee and the Department of training, innovation and evaluation of the conservatory decided the involvement of our organization in the Erasmus+ program with the realization of this project and with the intention of improving and deepening into:- Methodological innovation related to music teaching, the theoretical music teaching as well as teaching musical instrument.- Delving into digital competences with the use of the Information and communication technologies like a resource in the lessons. And to go in depth on the use of the new technologies applied to the musical teaching.- Improving the vocabulary which is specific in the music in different languages and training in pronunciation and phonetics that we need to teach subjects like the choir.We decide to stay abroad in a Job Shadowing Project. Every stay will be made by three members of the staff in the “Yehudi Menuhin School” of the United Kingdom and the “Istituto Comprensivo Leonardo Da Vinci” of Italy. These institutions are selected for the stay because of:- Their similarity in educating and pupils’ profile- They are supported by European reports which emphasize them like a high quality schools.- Their work introducing the new methodologies related to the musical teaching.- The use that they do of the new technologies like a resource into the class, specifically in the music range.- Their profile appropriate to reach the objectives that we have decided we want to improve and their profile appropriate to compensate for the necessities that our assessment team have detected.Each of the three participants in the job shadowings in the “Yehudi Menuhin School” or in “Istituto Comprensivo Leonardo Da Vinci” will stay one week, Comprising at least five working days.A committee will select the teachers who are going to participate between the teacher that want to participate in the Project. The committee will select the participants taking into account their suitability, and taking into account requirements like: knowledge of languages, their participation in other European projects, training abroad, holding european mobility documentsThe institution will create:- A logistics committee, which will look for the means of transportation, the accommodation and it will claim that that safety standards are met for the field trip.- An informative committee: Constantly in contact with the institution abroad.- An evaluation committee.Different ways to the application and the broadcasting of the Project will be made, like: seminars for our staff, seminars for the staff of other teachers of the region, informative meetings for the pupils and parents, inclusion of the new methodologies in our annual programming, inclusion in our informative memory of the conservatory, broadcasting into the institution website, radios, social networks, musical teaching magazines…With this Project, we forecast the impact:- In the region where the Conservatory is and where it is the revitalizing of the cultural life with the collaboration of other institutions.- In the participants who will learn new more innovative and more integrative methodologies. They will learn new technologies that will have a direct and innovating application in the classroom, as well as to develop their knowledge of vocabulary, phonetics and pronunciation with an efficient application in the classroom.- In the pupils: who improve their music, digital, social, civic and communicative capabilities. As well as cultural and linguistic aptitude will be implemented. Also we can mark that the pupils will improve in its significant learning and personal well-being all of this accompanied by opening up to new cultures.- In other schools in the region what currently are working with us through collaborative projects, and these schools will benefit from the innovative experiences that will be extracted from our Project.The results of the Project will be evaluated by comparative parameters and tests of quality which will be distributed to the participants in the Project, to the different members of our educational community, the school, which is going to host us and the Evaluation committee of the Project consisting of the teaching staff of the conservatory.
