The project mobility „MULTIcom – Key competency strong communication skills“ involves Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom. It provides at least 16 trainers, education providers and project managers in the field of adult education with an opportunity to take part in a learning mobility in Europe. The activities are gathered under the key competency “Strong communication skills”. A total of 2 structured courses and 2 jobshadowings will be offered within the frame of the project. The project is opened to all the association members, who can apply for a course through a fair, public and transparent recruitment process. The structured course “COMM – Skills for and practices in communication” enables 7 participants with the opportunity to reflect upon their role and position as teachers by getting to know new cognition and communication theories. Communication techniques, communication games and communication exercises will be taught and tested with the aim of improving the trust between the teachers and the learners. The course “COACH – Coaching and facilitation skills” will allow 7 participants to focus on individual and team coaching on the one hand and on mediation and facilitation thinking and acting on the other hand. Both courses foster an optimized work in learning groups and project teams in the short and medium run, with high variability based on culture, ethnicity, language, age and gender.The project will be completed with 2 jobshadowings operated by a member of the board of the association and/or a responsible party. This underlines the long term development strategy of the internal and external communication of the association regarding its opening up to the Europeanization of its membership structure and the use of English as a working language on the one hand and the exchange of experiences with institutions with similar policy, projects, products, services and members on the other hand. The project aims to consolidate the commitment of the EU Fundraising Association in mobility projects and generate new educational cooperation in adult education.
