The project MOVING TOWARDS INCLUSION is an ERASMUS PLUS KA1 VET STAFF mobility project. The Mobility for VET STAFF is directed to vocational training staff specialised in the field of participatory design. The professional mobility experience abroad will be carried out in organizations which have been working effectively in the field of vocational training in Spain, France and Austria; special attention will be dedicated to the professional skills of experts working in VET organisations and in particular: area coordinator, trainers, tutor and vocational guidance counsellor, euro project manager . The project also intends to dedicate attention to the evaluation, validation and recognition of learning outcomes in vocational training courses and to the transferability of skills. The project is the result of the collaboration of a large team which has been actively involving the national and transnational partnership. This Mobility action intends to be a privileged means for the acquisition of new competencies and knowledge in the professional fields covered by the proposal, which may could not be gained in the usual training context and in the Sicilian economic environment. Hosting organisation, relevant for the achievement of the project objectives, have been appropriately identified by the partnership because of their innovative character and expertise in the areas covered by the proposal. The primary objective is to make the project an innovative tool for strategic territorial growth according to the recommendations of the European Union's strategy for growth called "Europe 2020". It requires the involvement of a strong local partnership. The project is characterized by the strong Community added value of the training offer of the proposal according to the destinations of mobility. Mobility experiences will be implemented in organizations located in the host countries working in the professional fields identified by the proposed project. VET Staff mobility involves a period of job shadowing / observation in organizations operating in the vocational training field in the sector of participatory design as a factor of social inclusion and regional development. We will carry out a period of cultural and pedagogical preparation in Italy before departure. In the host country the project provides a professional preparation for a better integration in the new foreign social context. The training abroad will be certified by the hosting organisation, thanks to the Europass mobility document. New gained skills will be assessed in the aim of empowering the involved beneficiaries. A management plan including assessment and quality control throughout all the project life and a broad enhancement strategy involving all hosting partners and operators in the world of information have been developed. The transnational partnership involves organizations which have been working for years in the areas of the project with a consolidated expertise in hospitality and inclusion of training professionals in job shadowing. National partnership involves public authorities, social partners, training institutions, companies and non-profit organizations operating in the activities of dissemination of the results in the Region of Sicily.
