“movIeT” is a youth Exchange that will take place in Tenerife, Spain, between 19th of July and 1st of August of 2015 with the participation of 56 youngsters from 7 European countries: Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Malta, Greece, Italy, and Portugal. This project wants to involve young people with fewer opportunities and support the initiative and cooperation with other youngsters, that don’t belong to disadvantaged groups. With the purpose of reaching their potential, developing their social abilities and competences that lead to the mitigation of the social disadvantage, this project will offer 56 European youngsters the frame for the exchange of ideas, experiences and team work in outdoor activities, sports and tasks in making short movies about the use of sports for social inclusion. At the end of the exchange the participants will have the technical competences that can be very useful in a diverse range of areas, both personal and professional, as they will have the practical experience of making a movie, from the idea, the scenario to the recording and editing the video material. At organizational level the associations involved in the projects, 7 European NGOs, will increase their portfolio of instruments used in promoting sports and social inclusion.
