Project name: MovEUrope - Europe moved by youth This project has as main objective to make an exchange, which allows youth from 3 organizations from different countries to get to know better each other and to share the same space and the same activities for a week. Among other, the main objectives of this project are: • Promote active citizenship; • Promoting intercultural dialogue and the discovery of new cultures; • Promote healthy habits and lifestyles; • Encourage the values such as solidarity, democracy, friendship, etc. in young people • Promote social inclusion and solidarity; • Strengthen cooperation between organizations in the youth field; • Develop oral skills in English; • To sensitize to the environment. PARTNERS: Psientífica - Association for the Promotion and Social Development (Portugal) INITSIATIVA Regional Youth Council (Bulgaria) Environment Sociale (Italy) INTRODUCTION / BACKGROUND / Support: This project results from the reflection of past projects in which young people from Italy and Bulgaria separately designed and implemented projects with Psientífica. In general we concluded that despite cultural differences they had the similar needs, questions and concerns. We felt it was pertinent and relevant to organize an exchange, so young people could get to know each other better. For this we encouraged young people to prepare a work program, favoring non-formal education methods and aiming to establish solid and trustworthy relationships. Bicycle, more than a mean of transport, it is a symbol of youth, it is part of the culture and the region of Aveiro and it is an industrial icon in Águeda. For this reason it was unanimous the use of bicycle, the use of outdoor activities and the opportunity to experience flavors and the knowledge of different cultures, as activities that could meet the objectives for this project. MAIN ACTIVITIES: The main activities to be implemented under this project are: - On-line preparatory meetings; - VPA (A1); - Bike tours Circuits (cycling); - Visit a bicycle factory; - Group dynamics; - Orientation games; - Traditional games; - Cultural Nights; - Welcome / Goodbye Party. MAIN OUTCOMES In addition to the learning outcomes that are particularly relevant, we intend to obtain among others, the following results: a webpage and Facebook; News in the local media with information about the program and the project; Public presentation to the community (post-project) and creation of a booklet. CONCLUSION: In conclusion we think that this exchange can yield results in the future which go beyond the scope of the project itself, but that surely fit the objectives of the ERASMUS program +. It seems quite possible that this project generates trustworthy relationships and friendship relations between young people of different nationalities, who can materialize themselves in low cost holiday in the home of one another, in studying abroad, in future projects, working outside the country, that is, together they can have a new world of experiences.
