Our school can be found in one of the most disadvantaged regions of the country. The unemployment rate is really high due to the low education level of the people living here. The students experience mainly negative models around them so that is why it is extremely difficult to motivate them. It is also hard to make their attention kept, and to decrease the number of dropouts. The purpose of the quality insurance system of our school is to decrease the number of dropouts, and to improve school results of the students. For this reason, it is important to develop our teacher's competences. At first we intend to give the chance of further education for our Art and Science teachers, because there is disinterest among the students in connection with their subjects. Our colleagues need renewal regarding their teaching methods and in pedagogical aspects as well. This is the only way of efficient teaching, it will result in a higher knowledge of the subjects. We have chosen 2 colleagues who teach Art and Science subjects Maths and History and Social Studies. Mr Róbert Penyaskó teaches History and Social Studies has been working at our school since 2000. Mr Zoltán Kása has been teaching Maths at our school for 3 years now. He needs to develop his leader's qualities, and oral communicative skills. He himself intends to improve his emotional intelligence and his knowledge of differentiation in education. The above mentioned teachers will receive a proper preparation and mentoring before taking part in the courses. After returning home they will employ the knowledge they could gain in their everyday practice, and they will hand over all they learnt to the teachers team. We will control of the effectiveness of all of them. The methods acquired during the project will help to make the level of their education higher, by making the lessons more interesting. We will keep the students attention, and change their attitude in the long run. All of this will result in a better performance, and more students will leave our school getting a vocational certificate.
