Cooperation between the classical music channels of the Estonian and Latvian national radios will ensure wide public education - through series of special broadcasts and reportages, people will expand their knowledge about classical music life in various regions of the neighboring country.  Young artists from local music schools will be particularly spotlighted via specially organized concert recordings. Achievements: Young musicians have performed recitals, as well as appeared in ensembles even comprising six participants. Classical music performed by piano and string instruments as well as colourful performances with instruments such as the marimba, cither and Teppo accordion were heard in the Studio One. Musicians having taken part in the Riga concert within the framework of the project Youth involvement in professional classical music are coming from Aizpute, Liepāja, Babīte, Engure, Ventspils, Cēsis, Gulbene, Rīga and Estonian music schools and this was a great opportunity for the new talents both to play in the professional sound recording studio and to make friends with other musicians.
