The project aims at treating the socio-economic and cultural desertification of small fishing communities, by developing a model that will preserve and promote the knowledge and flavours of coastal cultural heritage for tourist purposes. It will set up and implement the following actions: • A Consortium Co.MGM for the enhancement of the cultural heritage • A shared Multimedia Library on maritime culture • Studies on shipwrecks and old routes and on ancient seafaring activities • Setting up 3 Port Museums, joined in a network by a camera-connected monitors (educational paths on the docks with installations that reproduce the old trades, traditional equipment and evidence of maritime culture) • Sea Laboratories including taste laboratories (collection of traditional recipes and tasting events • Reception and accommodation services • Training centre for the development of sea-related tourism.
