The MORE4U is a project conceived to increase the awareness of research as a solution to the numerous challenges faced by people all around the world and mainly in Europe. The goal of the present project is to reveal to the non-academic public the role of researchers in transforming ideas into ready-made useful products available to all citizens. In doing so the activities foreseen are going to involve an audience as young as pre-school age kids, teenagers to young adults and adults from a great variety of fields didactic staff, doctors, entrepreneurs, clerks, etc. among them. An important target group of the project will be students.The MORE4U project will promote public recognition of researchers and their profession and bring them closer to society. The project also aims to stimulate young people to embark on scientific careers and to enhance the attractiveness of Europe as host territory for researchers.The successful accomplishment of project objectives will be ensured by the professional experienced team comprising researchers, national contact points and project managers selected to carry on a number of activities involving the majority of the significant Moldovan research institutions from all country regions. The big event with a festive character to be organized on September 27, 2013 will bring scientists to the spotlight offering them a tribune from which to initiate a dialogue with a public able to offer an immediate feed-back through the questionnaires elaborated for this particular event.The expected results are summarized as follows:• Contribution in structuring a public recognition of researchers in Moldova society.• Promotion of better understanding among the general public that researchers are a between them.• Attraction of young people in sciences and technologies.• Create synergies with other European initiatives, like ERA-MORE Network.
