Start date: Jun 17, 2014, End date: Dec 31, 2014 PROJECT  FINISHED

The youth exchange MOI - Make Opportunities Increase was developed in order to create more awareness towards (un)employment and to create fulfillment in a jobless economy. The project is designed to find possibilities and to create more opportunities and insight for the young participants regarding their education and future career. 32 young people and 7 leaders from seven countries are invited to participate: Bulgaria, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Greece and The Netherlands. The activity will last for twelve days in Hunzepark, Gasselternijveen, The Netherlands working on the theme '(un)employment' based on experiental and non-formal learning, using the tools: video, photography, role play activities and simulation games. The participants will work on statistic facts about unemployment, possibilities for voluntary work, personal perspectives and qualities, education, possibilities in their local environment and social media. They will create more awareness towards these themes and individually give it a place in their own environment and social surroundings. At the end the young people will be tested with a challenge, in which they go out and do research concerning the theme '(un)employment' at other institutions and organisations in The Netherlands. The priority of the project is to create awareness about themselves concerning the theme: '(un)employment', how it affects them and what possibilities and opportunities they can gain for them self.
