Moderné mobilné učenie a práca s aplikáciami v outdoorovom prostredí
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Opportunities for young people in the 21st century can be described as unlimited. The world, thanks to the development of ICT, is becoming increasingly smaller; thanks to the English language, so called the universal language, we can understand almost everybody.Teachers face a difficult task in the new era - to be flexible, communicative and informationnaly proficient. For this reason, it is necessary to have continuous training in new area in order to reflect the development of new technologies. The implementation of ICT in teaching has been common practice for a long time. Learning should, as much as possible, simulate the real environment, which, thanks to portable mobile devices and applications, has become increasingly possible. However, teachers need to be up to date with these advances and constantly be educated. Therefore, the aim of our school is to create the widest possible team of teachers who will competently apply this type of learning as well as adopt new methods and forms of work through learning with mobile applications and tablets outside the classroom, improve the level of key competences with specific regard to their relevance in the labour market, to strengthen transnational cooperation and intercultural aspects, to encourage the learning of foreign languages, and link formal and informal teaching ...The key people involved in the realization of this project are two progressive teachers of English, interested in modern technologies and searching for effective ways of teaching, whose role will be to disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills among other colleagues. A videoguide will also be created and published on the school website, which will allow all interested parties to learn more. The chosen teachers will attend a course titled Using tablets for teaching outside the classroom, which should bring an expanded view of the possibility of teaching through tablets and mobile applications not only in the classroom but also outside, which will be reinforced by a European cultural identity (visiting museums, cultural and natural heritage). The main working method is the “learning by doing" method, which is necessary for authentic, problematic and open teaching. We expect to enhance, in particular, qualifications, expertise and teaching skills; teachers should be able to teach through new, innovative methods, increasing the motivation and initiative of teachers to establish international contacts useful for further possible cooperation. All acquired knowledge and skills will be applied directly to the educational process, so we expect a lasting improvement in the communication and information skills of pupils and, consequently, the higher employment of graduates in the labour market. The acquired knowledge and skills will also serve as an information basis for the realization of other international Erasmus + projects; there is also the possibility of establishing long term and useful international contacts between the teachers and professionals with a deeper interest in the topic.
