The project was based on the needs of two youth organisations to meet and reinforce their partnership and cooperation. It will consist in a 28-day job shadowing which is planned to take place in Brussels, Belgium. The host organisation will be the International Voluntary Service (SVI, Belgium), and the sending organisation will be a non-profit making association, "InterAction" Club (Russia). "InterAction" Club will send two participants to the SVI office, and the SVI team will be in charge of training the Russian participants and sharing their expertise with them. In return, the Russian participants will help translating the SVI website in Russian. The topics of the job shadowing are the exchange of good practices regarding volunteering management, and the exchange of skills in the use of IT tools for youth organisations. Both participants started networking and cooperation in 2007 and they look forward to harmonise procedures, values and strategies of common future projects. Within the job shadowing, the Russian participants will learn how to adapt modern ways of Internet communication into NGO sphere. As the result of the job shadowing, the participants will write a common Volunteering Management Handbook to help youth organisations in their volunteering activities by giving standards of working methods and volunteering management.
