This project has been designed not only to meet an institutional need but also a national one strictly concerning the conduct of teaching practice for students of pedagogical profile .The target group consists of 90 students from the Romanian and Hungarian pedagogical profile section preparing to become teachers at pre/primary school. This project wishes to offer the opportunity to 90 students to participate in teaching practice in a modern European environment, European schools and kindergartens in Northern Ireland. The group of 90 students is divided into groups of 15 students to participate in flows of six according to their study level. The two-week teaching practice focuses on modern teaching and assessment methods which will improve participants’ teaching /methodological competences and skills.
Objectives are projected as :
-the 90 participants to acquire modern teaching methods and tools , assessment at primary and pre-primary groups.
-the 90 participants to use modern North Irish teaching methods and means.
-the 90 participants to acquire IT means and methods of teaching and assessment.

the 90 partcipants of the target group to gain experience in the workplace in the European area
-the 90 participants to be advised regarding the transition from training towards the labour market through teaching practice in a European country.
- students in the target group will enrich their knowledge about the pre/primary Northern Irish education system.
All participants will improve their professional performance in the field of didactics, networking, activity organising, differential work duties according to the type of each participant and the overriding intelligence type of each student. What is more, participants will perfect their communication skills in English language and IT .
Practitioners will have a tutor for the teaching practice who will oversee the entire assisted learning practice, experimental teaching and preparation of documents, materials and worksheets that will represent the portfolio. At the end of the internship, each participant will be assessed based on NW Academy’s set of criteria. The practice portfolio, individual teaching practice sheet supervised by the tutor; all these will be supporting document for the running/ evaluation of the teaching practice stipulated in OMEN 4927/2013 which regulates the organisation and conduct of teaching practice in accordance with the subject matters. Students will receive grades for their teaching practice in the register taking into account their teaching performance and implementation of the newly acquired innovative teaching strategies.
The majority of participants will change their teaching style due to more modern approaches outlined by the European model and also experienced during the foreign teaching practice. All participants will propose methods and tools of modern teaching in their teaching practice in the experimental units of application. All participants will contribute to the preparation of the corpus of materials on modern teaching methods and tools for students of pedagogical high schools and afterwards they will spread this to all similar profile high schools around the country by email.
We aspire to have a highly-qualitative pre and primary educational system here in our county and also nationwide due to the 90 participants in the mobility of teaching practice. Our school will gain recognition among schools involved in Northern Ireland. We will have the database of these educational institutions for further collaborations.A crucial indicator that should not be neglected concerns an improvement in students’ performance, teamwork, role models for other students. All participants will improve their communication skills in English and IT.Their self-esteem will be high because they have managed to complete successfully a brand new learning experience;they are better prepared than other staff in the education system, they know details of the two educational systems;they are more creative and innovative in teaching approaches be it formal or nonformal.
At the high school level, participants will set up a new department „peer education”,wishing to offer guidance to fellows, colleagues and teachers applying for Erasmus + projects.
At the level of institutions, they will initiate more Erasmus+ applications which eventually will produce major changes in teaching standards of pedagogical high schools. At the community level, we will notice unexpected benefits when the 90 participants will be directly engaged and responsible within our county’ educational stage.Their methodological approach will improve the regional results. These 90 participants shaped and trained in line with the modern European teaching trends will carry out their teaching activity conforming to the highest Europelevel and students will be stimulated by this modern and creative challenge.
