Start date: Dec 31, 2014, End date: Dec 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The model of teaching children at the age of 6 in the chosen EU countries Priority of the project is to reinforce professional profile of early primary teachers. It is done by adaptation of good work experience from other teachers – from the chosen EU countries. From 1st September 2014 children at the age of six will start compulsory education in our school. Therefore it was essential for teachers to extend their knowledge as far as the work with six years old children is concerned. We would like to use and share Slovakian and Czech teachers’ experience because education of six-year-olds has already been compulsory there. The aim of the visit will be to get to know new effective tools, new teaching methods and to compare the curricula for the first grade. The next aim will be get to know organization solutions of our foreign partner- especially school facilities and equipment. Twenty early education teachers from our school may take part in this visit. Our tasks will be : 1. To familiarize ourselves with methodology of work with young learners, especially pupils at the age of six. 2. Analysis of school work organization from the point of view of child optimal development, both physical and psychological. 3. To familiarize with facilities and equipment in classrooms and school. 4. To get to know the types of classes extending students’ knowledge and for children with some dysfunctions. 5. To familiarize with organization of day care of young children at school. The initial stage of the project is to plan it. Next, it may be initiated after official assessment. Consequently, the next step would be to appoint the supervision team to monitor the proper execution of the project. Expected results: - increase of teachers’ knowledge concerning work organization with six-year-olds, - exchanging work experience, - establishing international ties, - cooperation of the same professionals.
