It is planned to send abroad 60 students from the Forestry School Group in Biłgoraj, currently gaining vocational education within the field of forestry.
Students who attended internship were divided into 3 groups, according to the following plan:
First group of 20 people + 2 supervisors – June 2015
The second group of 20 people + 2 supervisors – July 2015
The third group of 20 people + 2 supervisors - October 2015
The country of placement was Germany.
The partner institutions in the project were: Vitalis, INTER.
Students took the challenge of confronting the knowledge gained at school with practical issues in the reality of a foreign country.
The internship of each group lasted two weeks. At that time students were supervised by their teachers whose job was to monitor the course of internship, help in adaptation in an intercultural environment and care for students.
The project was a response to the need of proper preparation of young people to take up economic activity and link vocational training to labor market needs.
The host partner selected the proper institution which was adapted to the professional profile of the students, which ensured maximum benefit from the internship. The main objective of the project was to increase practical skills and mobility of participants in order to increase their potential attractiveness on the labor market.
Achieved results:
• getting practical experience and skills during international internship as well as transferring the experience to the Polish labor market,
• acquiring new vocational skills and learning new methods of working,
• increasing students opportunities for employment and participation in the European Labor Market,
• increasing the attractiveness and gaining a competitive position in the labor market after graduation,
• confirming skills by obtaining the Europass Mobility,
• using technical terminology in the languages of the EU,
• improving the knowledge of a foreign language by its practical use,
• preparing materials, such as presentations, to be used in the classroom later on.
