Mobilność kadry edukacji szkolnej
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Erasmus Plus project concerns mobility of school's employees. Selected staff members of Zespol Szkol Odziezowych in Poznan will participate in language, methodology trainings and those teaching how to build a motivation in a student to learn non-stop and individually in United Kingdom and Germany. The selection of participants is connected with a two-year plan of professional development that is a result of school's needs. It aims at promoting development of key competences. The need to educate school staff more, stems from the necessity to introduce in technical classes professional foreign language lessons. The initial evaluation showed that this area has a gap or is not fully covered as far as adequacy of content choice is concerned. There is especially a need to educate further teachers of professional subjects to make them able to help in building the didactical plan by cooperating and supporting foreign language teachers. In the trainings there will participate 10 persons (including two managerial staff members). In ZSO there is a lot of students that come from not complete families with social problems, like alcohol abuse, etc. Such situation results in numerous problems at school like lowered motivation to learn. Competences gained during the trainings in the project, are to help educational role of the school and to work out the ability to successfully activate students to make them graduates that will be able to operate on the job market in Poland and abroad. Such an effect will allow school gain good fame and will help in getting new students. All project participants will go through initial language evaluation and if there is such a need, they will also participate in prep-course to make the trainings fruitful later on. Their work and all activities will be closely monitored by the project coordinator in the school, by the school headmaster and also (through sent reports) by the Town Hall. We hope the project will activate the whole school environment, students, teachers and all school staff, promoting mobility and possibility to start up a cooperation, especially when it comes to professional internships abroad for students, with a long lasting effect.
