The goal of the project is to mobilize and strengthen cultural activities of border region communities. Project will focus on signing bilateral agreements between the communities of Antazav? and Dubna, Suviekas and Liksna. People living at the border are meant to interact, share experiences on solving different problems and learn from the best practices. First phase of the project is aimed at setting-up festivals in small border towns - Suviekas and Antazav?. Exhibitions, wood carvers' symposiums, fairs and many other cultural events will be organized in the framework of the project to involve local inhabitants and visitors. Other activities are targeting managers working in the field of culture. They will have an opportunity to build their skills during two workshops. It is also foreseen to organize a conference on culture issues in Zarasai.
