mobility always needs youngsters
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project includes two distinct activities aimed at two types of learners: Activity 1 - mobility "short" is aimed at young segment of compulsory education made trails of professional qualification they already have inside them both theoretical and practical lessons that business internships. The aim of the project is to help the education system to retain young people within their own circuit , and also to make them more involved and motivated than the school program in progress . Indeed, we have understood the realization of the placement abroad as an opportunity and as a stimulus for those guys that will demonstrate during the course of an ongoing effort to better develop their skills and demonstrating at least a constant effort in the activities proposed. The project activity involves the implementation of 81 mobility experiences for young students between 16 and 19 years, divided into groups according to the relevant fields (mechanical, electrical, tourist accommodation, catering). The 74 "short" mobilities will be realized in the period between September 2015 and June 2017 in the total duration of 14 days for each stream (excluding travel days) Participants will be divided as follows: - N. 12 in Germany (intensive language course and internship in companies in the mechanics); - N. 24 in Spain, (intensive spanish language courses + visits to companies + courses Spanish cuisine); - N. 2 (special users) in Spain, (intensive spanish language courses + visits to companies + courses Spanish cuisine) - N. 24 in Portugal, (intensive language courses + insertion companies and guided tours in companies); - N. 12 in the UK, (intensive language courses + workshops and guided tours on the farm). Activity 2 - "long" mobility is aimed at young people already qualified for less than a year who have attended the courses of professional qualification of the network Enaip and still unemployed. Enaip keeps constantly monitored employment performance of its students through a detection system precisely (survey activities in the employment situation through interviews) and through the official data from the various public institutions that verify the employment effects of the training activities undertaken. Although in technical areas there is still a good relationship between skilled and employed, the continuing economic crisis in our country has meant that in recent years there has been a worrying decline in employment. We believe that this activity has an important dual function: on one side it represents an important opportunity for professional and personal growth through experience of training abroad, on the other side it ensures that learning experience was not episodic. The target population are boys who come from school failure and / or with difficult economic situations / social / family, and have obtained a professional qualification is then for them a definite personal success that can be frustrated by being again in a situation of inactivity that can suggest a kind of "personal inadequacy" in the labour market. Another important element to consider is the age of the children who will benefit from this activity. While they were "minors" in the immediate past, and therefore still subject of special attention on the part of public institutions, now thy are "older" and this new situation suddenly finds themselves deprived of previous social policies dedicated to children, with all the consequences. It is therefore essential to offer them more viable opportunities to build on their professionalism and their personal growth "as adults" through internships abroad. The 7 "long" mobilities (3 monthes each) will take place in the period September 2015 - September 2017, and participants will be divided as follows: n. 1 participant in Germany added to companies in the catering and kitchen sector n. 2 participants in Germany inserted in companies in the mechanical and electronic field n. 1 participant in Bulgaria in the graphic field n. 1 participant in Bulgaria in the field of tourism n. 1 participant in the UK in the field of personal care n. 1 participant in Spain in the field of industrial mechanics The whole experience will follow the procedures provided by ECVET. After each experience each participant will receive a certificate of attendance and, where applicable, a certificate regarding the new skills. All participants also will be asked to return them to share their experience through meetings and seminars to other attendees Enaip and through the story of their experience to share on social platforms officers Enaip and Erasmus.
