Of its geographical position , Alsace maintains privileged relations with foreign relations. The Alsatian agricultural education is represented by two EPLEFPA ( Public School for Education and Vocational Training in Agriculture) , one in each department. Each property consists of two geographical sites in Obernai and Erstein for the department of Bas -Rhin (67) and in Rouffach and Wintzenheim for the department of Haut -Rhin (68). Under the supervision of the Regional Directorate for Food , Agriculture and Forestry and the Regional Service of Training and Development, each institution conducts an individual policy of international cooperation through participation in the programs European Erasmus, Leonardo and Comenius Partnerships . The mission of international cooperation results in two types of actions at each institution. • Class exchanges ( collective mobility of pupils/students and staff through meetings bi or tri national form of European natural site and exchange of professional practices ) . • Professional experience abroad based on individual mobility of learners and staff with concerns , linguistic, cultural and environmental . These courses provide a significant added value on a professional level thanks to the discovery of new practices but also on a personal level by the discovery of the host partner and its way of life. These work placements abroad involve a hundred young level 1st year Bachelor of Business any industry confused : viticulture , horticulture, gardening , rural services , landscape, production techniques, conduct and management of the farm , analyzes in the field of bio -processing industries . They are made from 2008 through the European program Leonardo da Vinci MOBILITY in all Alsatian agricultural schools willing to participate in ERASMUS + " Vocational Education and Training " ( 2014-2016 ) : • The General Education High School, Technological and Vocational Agriculture ( LEGTPA ) of Pflixbourg (68) is the promoter of action since 2008. His areas of training include horticulture, analysis in the field of bio -processing industry , the management of natural habitats and of wild fauna and landscaping. • The LEGTPA Obernai - Erstein (67) is the sending partner institution in the service sectors in rural areas , agricultural production and the conduct and management of the farm. • The LEGTPA Rouffach (68) is responsible for sending in the fields of oenology, viticulture, the conduct and management of the farm. Membership in the " Vocational Education and Training " program , in the framework of the European ERASMUS Programme + for Education , Training, Youth and Sport from 2014 to 2020 , aims to , in an overall international cooperation strategy and recovery / sharing of mobility actions undertaken since 2008 to increase the shares of each school to allow a hundred students , apprentices and students of various sectors to strengthen their skills, enrich their knowledge and facilitate their employability. This membership makes sense to provide our learners' creativity and personal development that will allow Europe to improve its competitiveness and job creation . Training periods between 2 and 6 weeks , are defined according to the different sectors concerned the period from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2016. On an educational level, professional internship abroad gives rise to the development of a technical document valued at an oral integral part of the final examination of the course. With the Europass certificate , experience officially validated. This certificate is officially presented to participants at the Open Days of the different structures in the presence of their families , educational teams and regional institutional representatives.
