Mobilitățile transnaționale VET - primul pas către o carieră de succes

The project "Transnational mobility VET - the first step towards a successful career" was an initiative of "Gheorghe Chitu" National Economic College from Craiova, in the context of Erasmus +, KA1, VET, deadline 04.03.2015.
The objectives of the project was:
- The training and development of skills and professional competences of the 52 participants in the qualifications: Administrative Technician (12 particip.), Technician in trade activities (20 particip.), Technician in gastronomy (20 particip.), level 3 qualifications- according to the standards of the EU labor market;
- Supporting the learning of foreign languages, improving communication skills in German language- level A2, respectively A2 level Spanish and English level B1;
- The development of IT skills and computer work for activities in the qualifications: “Administrative Technician and Technician in trade activities;
- Improving social skills and abilities of the participants, forming a lifelong behavior based on respect, balance, tolerance, communication.
The project’s target group was formed of 52 high school students, direct route, daily courses, XIth form –school year 2015-2016, Technological Branch – Domain Services, level 3 of qualification. They will perform 3 weeks of practical training in companies from Europe under the guidance and coordination internship tutors, the students will carry out practical work according to the qualifications included in the curriculum frameworks from Romania, as follows:
Flow I: 12 students from the Administrative Technician qualification; it was take place between 11.04.16 - 29.04.16, in Schkeuditz- Leipzig, Germany, company Vitalis GmbH. The students was perform practical activities corresponding to the VIIth module - Correspondence in Administrative and Secretarial Work - 90 hours.
Flow II: 20 students from the qualification Technician in trade activities; it was take place between 09.05.16 - 27.05.16, in Granada, Spain, in the industrial companies: Agrolachar S.C.A. (12 stud.) and Autoservicio Matilde (8 stud.): The students was perform practical activities corresponding to the VIIth module - Consumers and environment protection, 90 hours.
Flow III: 20 students from the qualification Technician in gastronomy; it was take place between 06.06.16 - 24.06.16 in Paphos, Cyprus, at St. George Hotel Enterprises. The students was perform practical activities corresponding to the modules: VIth – National and International Cuisine – 60 hours, Vth: Hygiene, safety at work and environmental protection – 30 hours.
To conduct the project activities at all stages of implementation, the project was be managed by the project team, in close collaboration with school and participants’ parents. In order to assure the quality of the activities, the project team was comply with the contract and its annexes signed between the school and the National Agency, was comply the contracts agreed between each participant and school, was respected the agreements concluded with the transnational partners.
The expected results was:
- Creating the project web page
- Making a DVD / flow with aspects of the project phases
- Making an album with gastronomy products made by participants from Cyprus
- Making “Calendar – 2017” by using information from the project for the participants from Germany and Granada
- Certificates of recognition of competences, knowledge and skills
- Cultural Awareness of the project participants
- Keeping partnerships with existing partners
In the long term, the project will benefit:
- Improving the quality of work in national and international services in the qualifications: Administrative Technician, Technician in trade activities, and Technician in gastronomy
-Transparency and recognition of these qualifications through diversified instruments for equivalence and transfer of competences and skills acquired in an international context to our national education system
- Encouraging the learning of modern languages of international communication, English, German and Spanish, developing at least the properties of a rich vocabulary specialized for effective communication within the profession.
