MASTERS stands for “M.obile A.pplication for S.kills T.raining in E.ntR.epreneurShip”. Entrepreneurial skills are of great importance for a country’s economic stability and therefore entrepreneurial education and training has been identified as one of the highest priorities by the European Commission in its Europe 2020 strategy. These skills are even more important in the field of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as it adds an essential qualification to young people’s careers. As a consequence of this entrepreneurial demand the Austrian Chamber of Commerce developed a specific program– the Entrepreneurs Skills Certificate (ESC). This program was successfully implemented in Austria and transferred to the Czech Republic, Germany and other European countries. Transferring unique know-how from one to another European country is the major reason for a transnational project. In the Czech Republic the transfer project was called TESC (Transfer of ESC). It has been successfully implemented between 2010 and 2012 and it has been awarded to be the best Leonardo da Vinci project in the Czech Republic that time. Now we are planning to upgrade this successful project with a mobile application with according didactical and methodical implementation concepts fostering entrepreneurship in the TVET to connect the outside with the inside of schools in the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany as pilots. Specific GOALS are: • To develop mobile learning content and material for the school context to influence pupils, teachers and other stakeholders to entrepreneurial thinking and know-how. • To develop teaching methods and material based on insights to mobile learning in combination with experience in entrepreneurial education • To uptake ICT in education through a MASTERS App as incentive that goes hand in hand with a sustainable school strategy for entrepreneurial education • To train trainers as multipliers and promote high quality in teacher professional development who pass labour market relevant competences on to pupils and other teachers • To build lasting partnerships among partner institutions and promote mutual learning, joint school policy development and implementation The six partners of our consortium have been chosen carefully P1, Nominated as the lead partner for this project. bit cz is a professional education and training provider with a strong network which was already the previous coordinator and responsible partner for the localization of TESC to the Czech Republic. P2, Leading technology company & ICT expert for creating interactive teaching tools (MASTERS App) and mobile solutions in the field of education. They have lots of expertise in didactics of mobile device learning. P3, Main partner of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce for the development and implementation of the ESC program in the Austrian market. Adds enormous content and technical value to the project through the extensive experience, the existing network as well as through the know-how in the field of mobile solutions. P4, UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education with the overall aim to build human and social capital, in order to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of individuals and institutions for innovativeness, change, competition and cooperation, aiming to also close development gaps. Add value through their scientific and applied expertise in this field. P5, Largest VET secondary school in the Vysočina region with a variety of 21 specialized fields of study. P6, LBS Murau is a VET school where annually approximately 900 apprentices are educated in 4 courses in line with theoretical and practical requirements for their occupation. P7, The Kaufmännische Schule Göppingen offers a wide variety of educational opportunities to 2000 students taught by our 115 teachers educating towards independent learning where enterpreneurial skills are of great importance in all levels of vocational education. CORE OUTCOMES of MASTERS: • MASTERS Teaching methods and materials for entrepreneurial education in the mobile context in the field of VET • MASTERS Learning content and material for pupils for entrepreneurial education in the mobile context in the field of VET • MASTERS Mobile learning application for entrepreneurial education in the mobile context in the field of VET • MASTERS will develop, test and implement innovative practices relating to teaching and learning materials and tools for appr 100 learners and 15 teachers. Materials will meet European standards and correspond to specific needs of target groups. In accordance with the Erasmus+ programme, MASTERS will contribute to: • Supporting ICT-based teaching and better exploitation of the ICT potential • Entrepreneurial learning - entrepreneurship education • Access to open educational resources (OER) • Development and delivery of new teaching/training materials and methods
