The applying institution is The Secondary School in Piaseczno. The project ‘Młodzi i Media' is to lasts two years from 1 Sept. 2015 until 1 Sept. 2017.The premises are included in European School Development Programme and the objective of the project is to prepare teachers to work in CLIL system- Content and Language Integrated Learning. In the school year 2016/2017 it is planned to introduce in Media classes, elements of CLIL in chosen subjects. Therefore, the need arises to improve the language competence of subject teachers and gain necessary knowledge how to work in the CLIL system. Except for the content –language integration, the European School Development Programme underlines the constant increase in the quality of foreign languages teaching. The project implies qualification improvement and enrichment of methodology by English language teachers. The participant of the project are 6 teachers - 2 language teachers and 4 teachers of other subjects.As part of the project, activities related to mobility of school staff will be undertaken. The teachers will take part in miscellaneous language courses, language-methodology and language-observation courses.The expected outcome of the project will be the acquisition of language and merit competence by teaching subject teachers to enable them to work using the elements of the CLIL and increase the quality of teaching foreign languages.In the long term, the prestige of the school in the local community and its competitiveness against other schools will be raised .The project " Młodzi i Media " will allow starting other EU projects based on sharing experiences. The teachers - participants in the project- will develop their interpersonal skills in the fields of : intercultural communication, use of modern educational tools and work using innovative methods.
