Within the work placement, two groups of pupils (counting 20 people each) specializing in mechanics will be sent to Portugal from 15.09.2014 to 29.09.2014 (first group) and from 13.04.2014 to 26.04.2014.(second group).
The main aim of the placement is the professional development of pupils and their orientation among the work methods of foreign companies active in the fields conntected with their education. The placement will enable a comparison between Polish and foreign companies, will teach them how to work in an international team and will help them to get to know new mechanical solutions. Pupils will be also able to learn and improve their command of foreign professional language and to experience foreign work culture.
The project will improve the European mobility as far as the work placement is concerned, will build a communicaton platform between Polish and foreign educational institutions and will contribute to the development of work placements.
The placement in modern Portuguese companies will help the pupils acquire new skills connetded to their future professionnal career, they will get to know another organization of work and a foreign work environment. They will improve their professional English. The placement in Portugal will bring a completely new value to the development of pupils, will help them to adapt their education to the needs of local, national and European labour markets.
Pupils will improve abroad their qualifications in the domains such as: construction of machines, technology and materials science, steering and regulation systems, machine and devices assembly, machine operation, ogranization and supervision the the production process, economic activity, professional English.
The participants will be able, thanks to the placement, make more reasonable decisions concerning their future, their self-confidence will grow.
The project will influence the local labour market, making it possible for the employer to employ qualified employees in the future. The unemployment rate in theregion will drop as well.
Finally, from the European point of view, the participants will become more conscius Europeans, even more ready to contribute to the construction of a common, affluent and tolerant Europe.
