PROJECT
FINISHED
The main goal of our present mobility project is quality development in our school, which is going to be based on our three main needs:- firstly, developing the linguistic competence of a broader circle of colleagues in foreign languages is necessary so that they can join international projects and partnerships with foreign schools;- secondly, to face new challenges of the future, more and more colleagues wish to make progress in using digital materials in the classroom;- thirdly, learning innovative methodology and broadening our perspectives are requirements both at personal and school level. All of these are closely linked to high priorities of the European Union: the spirit of enterprise, especially in an international context, and developing competencies (digital, linguistic and intercultural). Owing to mobilities, significant progress in quality is expected in various fields in our school and also in a wider circle due to the dissemination process. It will be the students of our school who will benefit most from our learning, among whom there are future researchers, decision-makers and educators. Therefore it is not an exaggeration to say that we are making a strong foundation for great achievements of future generations. For this reason we have carefully selected courses according to the above mentioned needs, namely, language courses for 8 teachers, ITC courses for 3 teachers, as well as language, culture and methodology courses for 8 teachers, and 1 colleague plans to take part in a job-shadowing activity. Apart from these, there is a trainer training course and one in cross-cultural education to help dissemination and international project management. Constant progress and improvement in methodology along with lifelong learning are considered essential by all of us. Moreover, this project is expected to promote cooperation among colleagues and the spirit of enterprise, strengthen our motivation for constant innovation and prepare us for the challenges of tutoring talents in the 21st century. Finally, as a result of working in intercultural contexts during the courses, the positive changes in teacher attitudes and our growing intercultural awareness will be an extra benefit for students and teachers alike.
