Microbonding - new opportunity for people with educational difficulties to access jobs in materials joining technologies
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

To produce a microbond in specific quality conditions, the bonding personnel should be very well trained to operate specific machines. Due to that, the aim of MICROBOND project is to develop new innovative toolkit dedicated to the training for qualification of bonding processes personnel. The toolkit will address 3 bonding technologies (Eutectic Bonding, Thermosonic Bonding and Adhesive Bonding) which are the most used in fabrication, and it will consists of: specific curricula, adequate work load for each topic, teaching and learning materials (course support, presentations, videos, teaching software, etc.) and an evaluation tool. The achieved outcomes of the project will be the base for an ulterior approval of the developed Guideline by the EWF commission for Guideleines. That will become a harmonisation of all the existent bonding personnel qualification methodologies. The main objectives of MICROBOND project are:1. introducing new qualification + enhancing quality of training + qualification of bonding personnelResult involved by the objective 1: development of the relevance of qualification on the labor market by introducing a new and innovative toolkit for training and qualification (curricula + teaching and learning materials + evaluation tool), easy to be received by the students with difficulties in learning, based on the experience of different members of the EWF. The qualification (competences and diploma) recognition may be acquired after the elaboration of specific Guideline by the EWF, which is expected to be the next step after the project conclusion.2. enhancing the qualification of the VET trainers and the improvement of the teaching methods; they will be able the use the new innovative toolkit of training and qualification in bonding processes; more, they will comply to the requirements of the students with difficulties in learning. In the final of the project, the trainers will gain and improvement of their experience in teaching information from the new domain of joining.3. sustaining of the improvement of the equity and the inclusion of working personnel with difficulties in learning, with reduced mobility or even hand low strength capacities. The educational materials which will be developed within specific activities will contain the latest elements from the bonding technology. They will be elaborated in EN, IT, PT, RO and ES languages and such comprehensive materials dedicated to training in microbonding will be new for the participating countries. A book, containing the course support, will be edited in EN and freely distributed to several VET schools from the participating countries. In that manner the schools will receive the newer information regarding the microbonding processes. An important component of the new toolkit for the training system will be a software for evaluaiton which will be an important tool for the trainers in their teaching activity. The main outcomes of MICROBOND are:- 2 questionnaire for surveys in EN,ES,IT,PT,RO - 2 surveys on bonding and on impact (2 reports)- 3 teaching and learning materials (EutecticB, ThermosonicB and AdhesiveB): course support in EN,ES,IT,PT,RO+presentations +software - curricula and content of the eaching and learning materials will be decided during the KOM- 1 evaluation software with 10 questionnaires having 10 questions each in EN- 1 transnational short-term course (in ES) - The transnational short-term course will be dedicated to the teaching the methodology to apply the training toolkit. Each partner will send 2 trainers for training. The examination of the 10 trainees will be done by EWF and participation diplomas will be issued to those who pass the exam.- 10 trainers of staff will be trained and examined- 10 participation diploma issued for the trained staff who will pass the examination- 4 seminars organized in 4 EU countries (ES,IT,PT,RO) to disseminate information to potential future trainees - min 40 (min 20 of the participants will be persons with special issues).- 40 participants (10/partner) to the seminars and 40 certificates of participation issued to the participants- 1 Quality Management Guide (QMG) + 2 Reports on Quality (Interim and Final)- 1 Dissemination and Exploitation Plan (DEP) + Report- 1 website of the project- 5 web-pages on the websites of partners- 10 articles in newsletters (2/partner)- 4 workshops (1/ES,IT,PT,RO) - for stakeholders- 3 papers for conferences - 500 flyers+250 posters in EN,ES,IT,PT,RO - 1 logoThe meetings are extremely important for the resolutions, for the analysis of the implementation and results and for controlling the timing, the following steps and, if necessary, the new directions. 5 meetings will be organized: 1 in Timisoara, 1 in Madrid, 1 in Genoa and 2 in Porto Salvo. 3 extra meetings will be on Skype. 1 meeting will be during the short-term course.
