Mesterségek északon és délen
Start date: Jul 1, 2015, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The mission of our school's Arany János program is to dislocate the disadvantaged studetns from their environment, providing them alternative path and opportunities to overcome their disadvantages. The ERASMUS+ program provides great possibility to realize this. It is indeed a difficult challenge, because these students live between really difficult circumstances, but there are lots between them, who are in spite of their background motivated to execute a successful vocational practice in abroad. The goal is that they would travel to such places, where they can meet professional novelties and methods, thus rising their possibilities to get employed. Also the trip would be very useful to deepen their language knowledge. During their stay, their perspective would widen, they would become more open towards other cultures, their mobility intension would rise. They would learn how to work as a team for the common goal of a project. Their problem solving capability would develop, while their vocational vocabulary would also become strong. Through the ERASMUS+ program we would like to send two student groups to abroad for a 3 weeks vocational practice: - In the autumn of 2015, 15 of our car mechanic and auto body mechanic specialties. Between them there will be minimum 3 students of special pedagogical needs or with conformity difficulties. At Gouppo Fassina they will experience the maintenance of such luxury cars as Volvo, Land Rover or Jaguar. - During the spring of 2016., 15 students of nursing faculty would travel to Wien, where they would spend their vocational practice at ÖJAB, the local senior center, where they will gain professional experience in a very international surrounding. In this student group we would also integrate 3 students with special pedagogic needs. We would like to send 2 accompanying teachers with the 15 person groups plus one in order to provide special mentoring to the students with such pedagogic needs.
