This project deals with the development of a blended learning training programme for language teachers. The participants in the programme acquire media literacy and methodical skills for the effective use of new media in the language learning classroom. Also, they will be taught to en-gage in e-learning as well as e-teaching. Therefore, the main goal of this proposal is on the one hand to improve the professional skills of language teachers and thus improve the quality of teaching. On the other hand, new graduates of teacher trainings who take part in the programme will improve their chances to find high quality jobs in all educational sectors.
