The aim of the research project is to actively contribute to the project "IPPO" by developing methods that allow transport service providers to implement reliable and environmentally sustainable transport.The importance of the reliability of the waterway for intermodal transport has increased continuously in recent years; especially physical components (faster frequencies of high and low water, water levels, hydromorphology or the water temperature) constitute challenges. Thus measurable indicators shall be identified to make the transport chain more reliable and to make the Danube more attractive as a mode of transport and to a modal shift to contribute.
