The main goal of the project is to enhance the social economical development of the cross border region Haskovo – Edirne through creating proper conditions for increasing of its competitiveness and balanced economical development. In the frame of the project a mirror structure to one of the functioning in Haskovo since three years is being created – a Regional Bulgarian-Turkish Business Council Trakya RBTBCT - in the town of Edirne. The project is upgrading the results from the realized in 2006 project Regional Bulgarian – Turkish business Council Trakya BG 2003/005-632-02.01 and it uses its good practises to offer experience and know-how. Achievements: The project has enhanced the social economical development of the cross border region Haskovo – Edirne through creating proper conditions for increasing of its competitiveness and balanced economical development. The tools used for reaching the project goals were: working meeting in Haskovo, Edirne and Keshan, informational campaign and publicity activities, Seminar in Keshan, Rep. of Turkey, meetings of Council of the Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry from the cross border region, Conference in Mineralni Bani, Exhibition of companied from Turkey and Bulgaria held in Haskovo; upgrade of the webpage of the RBTBCT "Trakya", issuing Catalogue with the companies from the region of Edirne.The project has been successfully accomplished in June 2012.
