I am alone or I belong somewhere? I am part of community or just an Individua? I am under 18 am I a citizen or I become one after 18? What rights do I have? If I am part of a community and I am a citizen what does that means? Should I act and live in some special way because of this? questions to be raise during "Me, myself and I....and the community!!!" youth exchange that will gather 36 participants from 7 European countries, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Spain and Portugal in Strumica, Macedonia. The main theme of the project will be exploring European Citizenship through the eye of a filming camera. Participants who are at their graduation, last year of high school will broaden their knowledge of the rights and responsibilities that go with citizenship. The project will be implemented on four levels: participants selected to participate will implement promotional campaign in local community where they come from and will film different age groups of people answering questions concerning citizenship; they will take part in the exchange,learn more about citizenship, create and implement quiz on European citizenship with 30 youngsters from local community; they will produce a film that shows what citizenship means to different people from different communities; and they will implement follow up information meetings within their communities and a promotion of the movie created. Through using non-formal methods of learning such as simulations, role play, teambuilding, discussions and interesting competitions, interacting with local community, making interviews and filming the project itself will offer youngsters space for personal development and will prepare them to face society as active young citizens. They will take part in interesting educative and creative workshops, they will learn more about themselves as individuals and as part of a community, they will learn about their role and their importance in shaping the future of the society.
