The project intends to develop an international standard vocational training system from a locally already tested methodology in the field of mechanical and mechatronics engineering. The activities will be carried out in three main areas: preparing a need analysis, preparing the modular matrix system and developing curriculum and e-Learning. The target groups are employees in the motor industry, students studying mechanical and mechatronics engineering, teachers, trainers, lecturers and educational institutes. The envisaged results are: needs analysis in the motor industry, comparison of national regulations, creation of the matrix subjects-levels and production of the training materials in the handbook format and CD. An important result of the project is that the partners will develop an international standard training system in the above mentioned topics; this will have an impact on the traditional semester-based education system.
