Our European youth capital, Cluj Napoca has achieved its aims. One of them was to share tasks and responsibilities and start a strong and solid cooperation among youth councils, local government and youth NGOs in order to reach as many non – organised youth as possible through participation, creativity, networking, partnership and involvement and make them active citizens. A good example is made and it’s the time to SHARE its’ methods, tools, techniques, challenges and solutions in order to make other towns, villages, cities in Europe youth friendly where young people can be responsible citizens and approached as resource and not a problem. It is essential to improve skills of youth workers how to involve non – organised youth into the activities of NGOs and youth councils, how can youth workers motivate and support non – organised youth to become active citizens locally as active members of NGOs or even members of youth councils and active European Citizens? The overall aim of this study visit is to share and exchange good practices how youth workers can reach non – organised youth and motivate and involve them to be important and responsible part of the society. How can they recognise their rights and responsibilities as citizens locally and European level? How can they act as European citizens for the sake of their local community? How youth councils, local government and youth NGOs can make a successful cooperation in order to empower non – organised youth to be active, participate and be creative, find and use their opportunities as personal and professional level. Presenting good practices and exchange and invent methods and tools for involvement of non – organised youth as focusing on European Youth Capital, Cluj Napoca in 2015 by SHARE good practice project that involved successfully youth councils – local government – youth NGOs in order to make Cluj Napoca the Capital of Youth. We will host 40 youth workers, youth leaders, members of youth councils, staff of local government who is responsible for youth affairs from Romania, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Greece, Moldova and Serbia, who represent such type of local communities where they see young people as a resource and not a problem. ”Make my community a youth capital!” - Study visit on exploring and sharing good practices for empowerment, participation and active citizenship of young people with special focus on non – organised youth through cooperation among youth councils, local government and youth NGOs in the European youth capital, Cluj Napoca will be held in Cluj Napoca, Romania at 14-21 October 2016. The main element of the study visit is to visit to different youth councils and active youth NGOs and can get familiar with their motivation and involvement strategies how they reach non – organised youth. Exploring good practices from the local community and exchange and invent methods and tools for involvement of non – organised youth, with focus on Cluj Napoca European Youth Capital 2015 good practice project that involved youth councils – local government – NGOs. The study visit is based on non – formal education and absolutely learned – centred. It will be facilitated by experienced local trainer with the support of an international trainer. Methodology will provide opportunity for participants to share their experiences, challenges and realities then to invent new strategies and projects together. Some example for methods we will use: pair work, team work, brainstorming, active listening, feedback, feedforward, strategy planning, etc. Tangible results: DVD for participants and partners for inner use: Hymn of the project;Finalised learning goals;Feedback letters for facilitators;Cultural fairy tales about young people in the local communities of partner organisations;Learning buddies;Presentations on rights and responsibilities of youth councils from the local communities of partner organisations;Organisational booklet of the participated organisations;Visit notebook with the descriptions of the visited organisations;Articles, interviews, press releases in the local newspapers and televisions;Photos of the visits;Learning outcomes of the study visits;Collages on social, political, cultural and economic approach of European citizenship;Project ideas on European citizenship;Personal action plan for further professional developments;Organisational action plan for capacity building of partner organisations;Evaluation fairytales. E – booklet on Active Youth for public which includes:Motivation and involvement strategies based on different profiles of non – organised youth.Suggestion for the rights and responsibilities and the tasks of the support structure behind the youth councils.Definitions of the social, political, cultural and economic approach of European citizenship.
