The project “Live Healthy and Move your Body – LIMBO Project” was held in Letojanni (Italy) from 18th to 25th of October 2014 and it’s integrated in the Eramus+ Programme, Ka1 Learning Moblity of Individuals, action - Youth Exchange - Programme Countries. This initiative involved 44 young people and 12 Group Leader from different nationalities, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Romania, Hungary and Portugal.
This project was developed with aim to encourage young people to have “healthy” and wellbeing, to enhance social inclusion, equal opportunities and participation throught phisical activities.
Following the European Commission priorities regarding youth policy, fight against poverty and marginalization, European and active citizenship and cultural diversity the main objective of the project was the involvement young people in the active participation to political-social and cultural life, through a global dimension, giving the opportunity to develop their sense of European citizenship and the comparison between different lifestyles.
The methodology used was high participative with promotion of non-formal learning, active methods, informative and interrogative.The working methods were based in the context of non-formal education that had permitted to the youngsters the expression of themselves in creative and personal ways.
They performed the following activities: presentation of the participants and associations, Icebreakers, Energizers, cooperative, social and dynamics games, initial, intermediate and final evaluation, experience and contact with the priorities and actions within the Youth Programme Erasmus Plus, round tables, Interactive Workshop, Brainstorming and Role Play, visit of the territory and interaction with local community, Daily evaluation and Meeting between group leaders, Interactive public workshop, case studies, discussions in small groups, multicultural evenings, Open space tecnology, Networking and Planning for the Future, laboratory of creativity.
During the creativity Group, the participants have created a campaign for the promotion of Healthy Lifestile and Wellbeing, Construction a Blog and Slogan Campaign to feel and disseminate the results of the project.
All activities have been based on creative mind and on learning something new and fulfilling for better life and respect for diversity.
