"Limitless - a intercultural film project" is a European youth project, which gathers Danish, Swedish and Polish youth on unknown ground in Sweden. Across international, cultural and language barriers they will work with film in a European context. The title ”Limitless” opens up for short films that focus on having no limits or boundaries be it physical, mentally, culturally or what ever else comes to mind. The young participants are encouraged to let their imagination run free across traditional boundaries that is a part of being young.30 young people –at the age of 13 to 18 – with an interest in moviemaking and society will participate in the project, 10 participants from each country. For all project partners it is important that the project invites and is able to include young people with special needs/less resources. Therefore it is an official demand that a minimum of 25% of the participants is within these categoriesThe project runs from 15th of May until 14th of September 2016 and is divided into three parts: preparation, implementation and follow up. The preparation is three parallel courses in Denmark and Poland, which intend to prepare the young participants for the project and the upcoming youth exchange. The implementation is an seven-day youth exchange in Sweden, where the project itself is executed. During these days there will be a variation of workshops and group work, where the aim is to produce 5 short filmsAnd finally the follow up will focus on evaluation and communication of the project results. The follow up will start when the project partners are gathered in Sweden and hereafter continue separately in the three countries. The main goal with the project is to secure that the participants develop and gain new competencies within the six key competenciesFurthermore the youth exchange will give the participants a greater sense of cohesion with other young Europeans and contribute to a more transnational culture in future decisions regarding studies, work and social life, and a wish to explore all of Europe and all the opportunities which is within their reach!
