The project is an initiative that was created by active young people from 7 countries. Amoung them: Hungary, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, Great Britain, Poland, Slovakia which organize educational activities for children and youth.
It will be organized in Lviv City, well-known as the centre of artistic, music, literature and theatrical life. Numerous museums and galleries, theatres, and many cultural events held in the city, support its status. These are both inherited from the past and created by the contemporary genius, which can be felt only in Lviv.
Participants will be accommodated in rooms for 2 and 3 persons. Each room is equipped with a fridge, TV-set and bathroom with shower. In the working room there is a possibility to put posters on the walls that createsworking atmosphere and keeps participants concentrated during all sessions. The place is located in the beautiful forest, in the outskirts the city. It provides unique fresh air and gorgeous views. The territory that belongs to the hotel is with space for outdoor activities. Moreover the territory is quite big with a lot of summer houses so there is a lot of space to work in groups and to have their own space.
7 different countries as a 7 full days training course that will introduce practical and theoretical knowledge and promote the knowledge among young people on how to give first aid
During the workshops implemented in its framework, participants will learn not only the basic concepts related to first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation - respiratory chain of survival , loss of consciousness , fracture, hemorrhage , but primarily the ability to practice skills such as performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, operating AED - Automated External Defibrillator.
The idea of the project comes from the need to involve youngsters from different countries and encourage them to be quite mobile and operate in a mobile way.
The project will be implemented with methodology of non-formal education. Its final outcome will be a photo exhibition for promoting very common information for every conscious person how to provide emergency procedureswhen a threat to human life or health, may occur every day.
The project will be hosted by the Institute of Ukrainian Studies in Lviv City, Ukraine from Tuesday, September 9 to Wednesday, September 17 2014.
25 participants will be involved from Poland, Ukraine, Great Britain, Slovakia, Georgia, Hungary and Turkey
