Project "Let´s grow together in youth center" is EVS project coordinated by NGO Tähe Youth Club in Estonia and as sending organisation Team For Youth from Romania. This is a short-term project. The service lasts from 1st of October 2014 until 28th of February 2015. Volunteer will live in modern dormitory and work in a youth center. Volunteer will focus on her/his work on playing and recreation for youngster in age 7-12 year. Volunteer will organize different activities that promote healthy lifestyles, she/he will teach Romanian culture and language through different methods and carry out hobbie classes. these activities depend of volunteer interests and competence. Main purpose of this project is finding contact with youngsters through games and playing. Every week volunteer will have estonian language lessons and meeting with her/his mentor. Mentor will write every week one blogpost, where she/he can express thoughts and experience. Thorugh this project we hope to influence volunteer who expands her/his competences and world view, youngsters and also Tähe Youth Club youth workers. Having a foreigner in our team for 5 month, will have effect on people cultural awareness. We believe that every EVS can be a little bit world changing experience, mainly to volunteer and youngsters. Youth center is offering so different activities and volunteer will have opportunity to test her/his abilities and this can impact her/his career option. The project visibility is provided through blogpost, promotion through Facebook and our website. The main visibility is promotion from face to face, that is happening though youth center youth workers and youngsters. We hope to have at least one article in local newspaper Postimees about current project. As long term benefit we hope to create trustful relationship between Tähe Youth Club and Team For Youth. We hope to improve ourself as strong partner for international youth work. We also hope to change a little bit of people opinion about low-paid youth work and youngsters. Nowadays people sometimes see only youngsters weaknesses, but not the strenghtness.
