We are 25 young people from Bulgaria, Estonia, , Ireland, and Poland who are going to hold a multilateral youth exchange in Trzebinia, Poland, August 22-28, 2015. The theme of our project is environment, and we aim at fostering our collaboration on environmental issues in order to raise our environmental awareness and strengthen our readiness to take action. We intend to familiarize ourselves with the key environmental issues of Europe, come up with our own ideas about young people having their say in environmental matters, and we are determined to develop our intercultural communication skills through effective teamwork. The desired outcome of the exchange can be seen as we become more conscious of both local and global environmental problems, we know how to apply creative thinking techniques, we come up with our own ideas how to live and promote green lifestyle, we understand how to cross cultural differences, and we more fully appreciate our European citizenship. Thanks to the participation in the exchange we will gain priceless knowledge of giving first aid, it is the most valuable skill which could save the health and even the life of another human being. We are sure, this exchange will raise our self-esteem and personal integrity as we learn how to trust each other, how to hold one another accountable, and how to focus on the achievement of our common objectives as responsible and respectful team members.
