Let’s Dance project will develop an Artistic Creation Lab for researching and developing an innovative artistic method in the field of performing arts and physical expression, fostering professionalization and expansion of employment opportunities for young artists. In line with the European Union’s 2020 Strategy, the project will foster innovation in the cultural sector making an intensive use of ICT technologies for online training, dissemination activities and learning materials that could be use beyond the project´s duration. Let’s Dance will reinforce artists´ capacity to operate at international level combining artistic vocational training with capacity building seminars, advising on access to professional opportunities and business development both at local and international level. It will promote young artists’ mobility through exchanges between cultural institutions, facilitating their access to European artistic markets and enlarging their transnational competences.Let’s Dance artistic project will reflect on migration and its impact on European citizens and culture, combining the methodology of the Tanz-Theatre and the Community Dance. This creation process will result in a co-production that will improve young artists’ capacities and stimulate interest in European cultural works. Let’s Dance will organize participative Community Dance-Theatre performances fostering audience participation and engagement as part of the creative process. Let’s Dance will also provide a social inclusive programme that will foster the community participation and artistic expression of differently-able people, and facilitate high quality accessible dance-theatre experiences. Finally, an audience education & participation program will take Community Dance-Theatre to Secondary Schools, helping to build tomorrow’s audiences and raising awareness of the opportunities available for young people in the cultural field thus creating the Let’s Dance European network of Arts Education
