"Sección de Educación Permanente de Salobreña-La Caleta-Lobres" (S.E.P. Salobreña) is an adult school set in the south of the province of Granada. S.E.P. Salobreña has 264 students and it has 4 teachers. Our main educational programmes are: Secondary Education for adults, ICT and English.The specific objectives of our project are:1) To acquire new methods and techniques related to teaching English.3) To expand the cultural and linguistic dimension.4) To open our institution to an European dimension.A teacher will take part in the following activities to achieve our aims:a) A structured course: "Active Methodology" organized by "Edinburgh School of English" in Edinburgh (UK). The course is intended for European teachers who teach English in adult education centers with a level, at least B2 CEFR. The date selected for this course is from 24.07.2016 to 08.06.2016.b) A Structured Study Visit to adult Schools & Training Seminar in Finland. The date selected for this visit is from 16/04/2017 to 22/04/2017.This visit is a practical complement in our project.c) To share learning outcomes using TwinSpace. To successfully complete the training activities, the teacher should be able:1. To Know and implement updated methods and techniques related to the teaching of English for the purpose of expanding student learning options.2. To exchange ideas with teachers from different European countries.3. To include cultural elements in teaching English.Our participation in this project will have a positive impact not only in S.E.P Salobreña but also in CEPer. Río Guadalfeo. Not to mention, the impact it will have in other institutions (local, provincial and even international level), improving the level of competence in this area.
